For The Summer of 2008, Our Youth Summer Camp Program
invites children entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade in the fall of 2008.
We now offer 2, 1-week sessions with that
give you a choice of signing up for 1 or more days or the entire week! Details on registration form.
Campers will do a variety of hands-on, age-appropriate,
activities learning about astronauts, flight, and astronomy.
Campers will discover how airplanes and spacecraft fly, how astronauts
live and work in space, what makes up stars, planets, moons, and comets.
By constructing and launching pop rockets, observing the Sun through solar glasses,
constructing models of astronomical objects, and performing balance and
dexterity training exercises done by astronauts, for example, the
campers will have fun while learning about many aspects of science.
Campers will also embark on our exclusive Youth Scavenger Hunt Missions in our NASA-designed Simulators!
The Youth Camp is offered during the following sessions:
Session 1: June 30th, July 1st, July 2nd, and July 3rd
Session 2: July 28th, July 29th, July 30th, July 31st, and August 1st
Cost: $90 per camper per day session or $450 per camper per one-week session. Choose one or more days.
*Registration Forms received before March 1st receive a 10% discount. (You pay only $405 for a 1-week (5-day) session or $80 per day!)
Parents must provide transportation to and from Center.
