is designed for children entering the 5th, 6th,
or 7th grade in the fall of 2010, and offers four, week-long
programs of camp featuring a variety of "hands-on" activities.
Depending upon the week chosen our campers will build and launch
rockets, learn computer animation, build and program robots, participate in LEGO challenges, discover
how astronauts live in space, join the search for life on other planets
and more!
Campers will also experience
in our NASA-designed Mission Control and Spacecraft simulators.
Campers are encouraged to challenge themselves,
using their own skills and knowledge of science and math to
explore concepts relating to space flight while working with
their teammates on simulated missions to the Moon, to Mars,
and to a Comet.
