Senior Space Explorers is designed for children entering the 5th, 6th, or 7th grade in the fall of 2010, and offers four, week-long programs of camp featuring a variety of "hands-on" activities. Depending upon the week chosen our campers will build and launch rockets, learn computer animation, build and program robots, participate in LEGO challenges, discover how astronauts live in space, join the search for life on other planets and more! Campers will also experience simulated missions in our NASA-designed Mission Control and Spacecraft simulators. Campers are encouraged to challenge themselves, using their own skills and knowledge of science and math to explore concepts relating to space flight while working with their teammates on simulated missions to the Moon, to Mars, and to a Comet.

Senior Space Explorers camp will be offered during the months of July and August and offers the following exploration weeks:

Week 1*: Tuesday, July 6th through Friday, July 9th

Week 2: Monday, July 19th through Friday, July 23th
Week 3: Monday, August 2nd through Friday, August 6th
Week 4: Monday, August 16th through Friday, August 20th

Parents must provide transportation to and from Center.

To Register for this program, complete and mail the
Camp Registration Form.

The mission...to learn, to explore, to inspire...continues.
